In this interactive session, we’ll explore the body image struggles that often accompany our bodies changing during puberty, pregnancy, and menopause. We’ll discuss some of the socio-cultural influences on body image, as well as ways to help our clients develop and maintain a healthy and compassionate relationship with their bodies during these life transitions.
Billie Gray, PhD is affiliated with the Emily Program Foundation as a current consultant and former executive director (2014-2017). She is committed to promoting healthy relationships with food and positive body image, promoting awareness and early intervention, and addressing risk factors that lead to eating disorder development.
Billie has an undergraduate degree in business administration from the Carlson School of Management and a masters and doctorate in Human Resource Development from the University of Minnesota. She is currently enrolled at St. Mary’s University in pursuit of her doctorate in Psychology and licensure as a Psychologist.
Prior to joining the Emily Program Foundation, Billie spent 12 years in the financial services, providing training, development, and coaching. She was also a small business owner for six years, working mostly with non-profits and government agencies providing needs analysis and program design, development, management, and evaluation.
