Mona Gustafson Affinito, Ph.D.

Author of “When to Forgive”, “Forgiving One Page at a Time,” and “Mrs. Job,” the latter the fictional story of the life of Biblical Job, Mona is Professor Emeritus and former psychology chair at Southern Connecticut State University. Emeritus faculty at the Adler Graduate School, she still supervises theses there. The purpose of her current private therapy practice is titled “Let Yourself Grow.” An early instructor of the Psychology of Women, Mona was involved in the establishment of a Women’s Studies Minor at SCSU and frequently spoke and gave workshops on “A Healthy Woman is a Crazy Person.” Workshops and writing on forgiveness have been a major interest since 1986. Social Justice and Restorative Practices are her passions. Recently she has added a new service: personalized editorial proofreading.
