Carolyn Halliday, M.A., LP “Experienced, warm, competent therapist with over 25 years of working with individuals, couples, and groups. Discover inner awareness, insight, action and change. Although directive in my approach, I believe each person holds the key to their healing. Much work in therapy involves the interplay of core emotional beliefs, usually learned early in life, with current problems or behavior. Couples work usually focuses on building emotional connection, negotiating daily differences, and understanding how core issues may have an impact on interpersonal dynamics. I love working with both individuals and couples.I am a Certified EMDR Practiioner, a neuro-affective, mind/body therapy which is particularly effective for the treatment of trauma. Also I have training in expressive therapies, such as poetry/bibliotherapy and art therapy. I work with many artists and am myself a practicing artist.
