My approach is supportive and focused on cocreating an environment for which clients can begin to better understand themselves. Over time the therapy process helps people to feel more confident, more in control of their thinking patterns and behavior, and to have more satisfying relationships.
I work from a relational and psychodynamic perspective. I use mindfulness techniques and humor where appropriate. I work with couples and adults across the lifespan. I am a graduate of the MN Institute for Contemporary Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy program, and a MN Board approved supervisor.
