The primary role of this committee is to provide notice, financial support, or other types of support for social action events and activities, acting alone or in conjunction with other MWP committees and the larger community. The committee will encourage MWP members to participate in activities that reflect its social action theme (currently embracing differences).
The first Social Action Committee Meeting for the 2018-19 MWP year will be at 11 am on Friday, September 21st at J. Selby’s (169 N Victoria Street, St Paul). Anyone is welcomed to join and share ideas for future events. Art supplies to write and decorate letters of hope to Syrian refugees will be provided.
